In a residence in Varennes, this floating staircase seems to float in the middle of light. Mounted on a single Central Stringer of white painted steel, it makes a half-tour in front of large square windows that flood the clarity cage.
The thick treads of hardwood blank, in maple, anchor on both sides of the central column and leave the emptiness under each step. To preserve this transparency, the railing is reduced to floated glass panels retained by discreet stainless steel fixations.
The result is of great lightness, a staircase that occupies the space without ever heightening it. A high-end achievement designed and installed by our team.
