Railing from landing with black metal balusters and handrail gray

In this client of Saint-Lambert, the railing belt the opening of a staircase that descends to the lower floor. Placed at the corner of a clear room, it seeks the emptiness while keeping the view out. The balusters of black steel, fine and regularly spaced, flow from the floor to a handrail of wood stained gray. A black corner post solidly anchors the whole, and the contrast between the dark metal and soft wood fits the floor of the room.
