In Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, this floating staircase throne in the middle of an open area bathed with light, with views of the lake and wood posts on the ceiling. Its treads thick oak white appears to float in space.
A single Central Stringer of black steel supports the treads to open risers, like a dark spine. The glass railing, paired with a handrail of wood, leaves everything pass: light, view, autumn landscape.
This staircase is as much a sculpture as a passage between the floors. It was made and installed by our team.
