In a house in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, this half-turn staircase rises in the center of an open area, up to a mezzanine with visible posts. The maple treads, stained a warm honey tone, curve around the half-turn landing.
The flight is half-to-round on a landing, carried by closed stringers. Between the posts and the handrail of wood, the balusters of wrought iron black torsed bring a craft touch that weeds the lines.
