THE PROJECT

In a Chambly residence, this winder staircase runs to an open mezzanine on a stay on the cathedral ceiling. Daylight floods the cage and makes the blonde-grey tone of wood out. The treads of hardwood, the Closed risers, runs on closed stringers. The railing aligns finite balusters of black metal between the posts and a handrail of wood, extended by a handrail wall to accompany the whole rise.
