Winder staircase renewed to treads dark and balusters white

In a residence in Longueuil, this winder staircase found a clear and contemporary look after a complete renovation. Given the landing, it drains a light pool in the heart of the floor, framed by a railing that stands out against the pale walls. The contrast does all the work: the treads were stained a deep dark brown while the risers remained a bright white, a two-tone play that rhythms the descent. The balusters, round and painted white, align under a black wood handrail. It was made and installed by our team.
