In a Sherbrooke residence, this delayed staircase runs half-to-round to serve several levels, without ever closing the space. Its open risers lets see through the structure, which relieves every flight. The photo, taken during the construction, still shows the blue tape protecting the nose of the treads.
The natural maple, left blank, wears both the treads as well as the posts and the handrail of the railing. Among them, the balusters finite round satin steel keeps the transparency and light trait of the whole.
Once finished, the stairs will connect the floors while preserving the clarity of the house. A performance made and installed by our team.
