In a residence in Longueuil, this straight staircase connects two levels along a wall dressed in white lambris with vertical roots. The treads of oak clearly heats the whole and naturally attract the look upward.
The oak was left in a blonde and natural shade that lets see the whole drawing of the grain. On the open side, a glass railing bound by a handrail wood protects the rise without blocking anything from the light, while a second handrail follows the wall.
The result is a bright and weight-free staircase, which keeps the room open while offering a safe take on every walk. It was manufactured and installed by our team.
