In a residence in Longueuil, this staircase rises in the heart of a paired room of a cathedral ceiling in white plates and wooden posts. By turning on himself, it leaves the light of the big windows pass and becomes the master room of space.
Each walk of oak, stained of a hot brown, comes to anchor on black steel edges that leave the bottom to discovery. The open risers relieves the whole, while the black metal balusters and the wooden handrail extend this dialogue between wood and metal.
The result keeps all its presence without ever weighing the room: we see through, the light circles and the stairs breathe. It was fully manufactured and installed by our team.
