In a residence in Longueuil, this staircase opens the access to the underground without ever weighing the room above. It is first noticed for its fine railing, which allows the light and look to pass from one level to another.
The handrail and the posts are shaped in a clear wood with natural tones, while thin balusters black metal come to rhythm the whole. This contrast between the hot wood and the dark metal has been adjusted on the site to match the volley and the landing.
The result is a safe and discreet descent, which connects the living space to the washing machine set down. This staircase was made and installed by our team.
