In a residence in Longueuil, this winder staircase is located in the heart of a paired room with rustic wooden posts. Its dive brown shade heats the space and immediately gives the tone: solid, frank, which has a look without making it too much.
The treads in hardwood rely on closed stringers, and the railing marries the balusters black metal to a handrail wood accompanied to the staircase. The contrast between dark metal and hot wood structures the rise without heightening it.
