In a residence in Longueuil, this floating staircase is based on a single Central Stringer of dark steel, which runs under the roll as a back spine. The photo, taken in the full building, reveals this mechanism: the floor is not yet placed and its hardwood boxes wait along the wall.
The treads thick hardwood blond, in maple, overflow both sides of the post and leave the emptiness under each step. Thro the roll, a glass wall ensures the rise without hiding anything of this lightness.
Once the finish is finished, the stairs will literally seem to float in the room. A high-end performance designed and installed by our team.
